Dean Winchester BasicInfo_zpsb216388c
Full Name: Dean Campbell Winchester
Nicknames: Dino
Species: Human
Age: 27
Occupation: Hunter; part the E.M.H Team
Home Town: Lawrence, Kansas (USA)

Dean Winchester Personality_zpsc181d6ed
Sexual Preference: Straight
Marital Status: Single (although, his significant other will always be his Impala)
Personality: The problem with Dean is that he acts first, thinks later. This goes for just about anything he does. He's headstrong and has on many occasion gone in "guns blazing" without any plan whatsoever. He loves killing murderous things and raising a bit of hell. Dean has an attitude and comes across as a tough-guy who can handle anything and to who emotions don't apply. However under this bad-boy exterior he's insecure about various matters of the heart and mind, and especially about where he fits in in the family. He feels that regardless of how much he tries, he isn't wanted and Sam will forever be the apple of his father's eye, regardless of how much they may fight.

Dean has a very intense protective streak and is unconditionally loyal to his family and others that he allows close enough to him. It is difficult to gain his trust but if you manage it, he will protect you until the end of the Earth, regardless of the cost to himself. He always puts his family first, even ahead of "the greater good". He highly dislikes anyone who says or does anything bad against his family; Dean also hates taking orders from anyone but his Dad, or people questioning his manhood.

He has a strong moral compass and follows this even if he really doesn't want to.  He often plays Led Zepplin and other classic rock while driving, all of which is on tape. Every time Sam complains, he reminds him that "the driver picks the music". His favorite catchphrase is "son of a bitch."

In some respects he still acts like the typical school jock - he likes hot women, good food (especially pie and burgers, but pie more so) and loves his car. His Impala is his baby and Dean absolutely hates people messing or wrecking it.

Ethnicity: American
Hair Colour: Dusty brown
Eye Colour: Green
Distinguishing Features: Some battle scars here and there from all his hunting adventures, a burn scar above his heart. Dean always wears an amulet given to him by Sam as a Christmas present in 1991, and a silver ring that used to be his mother's wedding ring. Dean has a very casual style of dress and is quite often to be found in a pair of work-boots, t-shirt and a pair of beat-up jeans, along with a leather or military jacket. His style can be best described as 'Military Surplus Chic'. He also wears two black bracelets. They are African support bracelets from Invisible Children.
Face Claim: Jensen Ackles

Dean Winchester Skillsandpowers_zps847298ff
Skills and Talents: He is an accomplished Hunter with an excellent knowledge of various things that go bump in the night; he is also skilled with most weapons and hand-to-hand combat. He can be rather arrogant while on a Hunt - he often attempts to fight and stand up to creatures that are far more powerful than he, which has gotten him in trouble many a time. He is also very relentless in that when he wants something enough (especially if it's killing a creature), he can become a force to be reckoned with. Needless to say, Dean is very good at his job; he really hates demons and other supernatural creatures.

His job has turned Dean into a brilliant con-artist and the man can charm or lie his way out of any situation. He is always prepared with a bunch of IDs and never goes anywhere without a weapon or two. Dean's knowledge of cars is only rivalled by his knowledge of creatures of the night and he is an excellent mechanic, once completely repairing his Impala when it was wrecked.
Powers: None

Dean Winchester History_zps2ddf5b86
Family
  • Parents: John and Mary Winchester (latter deceased)
  • Siblings: Sam Winchester, younger brother
  • Other Important Figures: Azazel, the demon that killed Mary Winchester.

History: Up until four, Dean had a normal childhood. Peaceful and happy, with no worries. Hakuna Matata. However when the boy was four, tragedy struck. A demon called Azazel killed his mother after she interrupted him in Sam's bedroom. Pinning her to the ceiling, he set her alight and moments later the entire house was engulfed in flames. In his desperation to save his wife, Dean's father shoved Sam (who was a baby at the time) into Dean's arms and told him to get out of the house. Dean managed to get outside with his brother, but not far enough; fortunately Dean's father, John, was not that far behind them and was able to take them both far enough away from the building, that they survived relatively unharmed.

From that moment on, John obsessed about his wife's death and after finding out what killed her, he obsessed about killing it. Dean spent a lot of his younger life being taught by his father to shoot, about the supernatural and most importantly – how to keep his brother safe. As the brothers grew older, Dean came to be like a surrogate father to Sam as John began to spend more and more time hunting Azazel down. The trio never stayed anywhere long, moving from town to town, school to school. Dean didn't care though; he was his father's man through and through and he was dead set to join 'the family business'.

When he came of age, Dean went around hunting with his father, while Sam went to college. Dean didn't bother Sam much until his father went missing on a hunting trip –  he'd been away longer than usual, causing Dean to worry. This lead Dean to call upon his little brother to help find him; while he admitted that he could find their father alone, he just simply didn't want to. Sam agreed to help, as long as he could return back to Stanford for an interview.

After spending an unsuccessful weekend trying to track down John, Sam returned to college. However, another tragedy was to strike, like it had 22 years ago. After dropping of Sam, Dean had a unnerving sense of uneasiness and broke into Sam's flat just as it went up in flames. Jessica, Sam's girlfriend, was pinned to the ceiling in flames - dying the same way their mother had. Once again, Dean was left to save Sam from a burning building and pick up the pieces. To this day, a part of Dean blames himself for what happened as it was he that pulled Sam back into their low-paid dangerous life.

The brothers road-tripped around the States, solving cases, fighting creatures, and attempting to find their father. During their journey together, Dean became aware of Sam's psychic abilities and was not too happy about them. Eventually they ended up catching up with their father, who needed their help to retrieve a mythical gun called 'The Colt'. Word said that one shot from that gun, with the special bullets, could kill any demon. They had the chance to kill Azazel after recovering the gun, as the demon inhabited John's body. Dean was the one who sensed that something is wrong, when his father, uncharacteristically, praised him. Azazel was able to hold the brothers in check with his powers, and begins to torture Dean. The demon taunted him, saying "You fight and you fight for this family, but the truth is they don’t need you. Not like you need them. Sam – he’s clearly John’s favorite. Even when they fight, it’s more concern than he’s ever shown you."

John managed to resurface and was able to hold the demon off long enough for Sam to get a hold of the Colt, to which John pleaded Sam to pull the trigger and kill the demon. Dean however, not wanting to lose his father, begged Sam not too and by the time Sam shot John, in the leg, the Demon had left John's body and it was too late.

During their trip to hospital, a lorry driver, possessed by a demon, crashed into them, seriously injuring Dean and putting him in a coma. During his coma, he encounters a reaper, who explains that Dean’s choice is either to stay as a disembodied spirit, and become the type of vengeful spirit that he hunts, or leave this world with her. Just as Dean is about to choose, he is returned to his body and healed because John has made a deal with a Yellow-Eyed Demon, trading his life for Dean's. Before he dies, John gives Dean a last, secret command – that he should save Sam, and if he can't save him, he should kill him.

The brothers return to their job, while Dean struggles with this secret and his grief and guilt over his father's death. As much as he wants to, he has trouble admitting the secret to Sam. He becomes increasingly concerned about Sam's powers, but attempts to be supportive. At one point, when Sam becomes possessed, Dean insists that Sam could not be responsible for the actions attributed to him, because in spite of Dean's own fears he believes in Sam.

During their adventures, Dean's police record starts to become a problem for the brothers. Dean is picked up in Baltimore on suspicion of murder, and the national authorities become aware that he is alive. They associate the crimes of the dead shapeshifter who once took Dean's form with the living Dean, who is now officially a fugitive. Matters become even more convoluted when Sam and Dean deal with another shapeshifter and end up holding people hostage to find it. It is then that they first become aware of Special Agent Victor Henriksen of the FBI who has been tasked with hunting Dean down.

Later, their notoriety allows the brothers access to a prison they are investigating when they allow themselves to be captured. They later escape, and realising that staying in the country is getting too risky with Dean's record, the brothers manage to smuggle Dean's beloved Impala with themselves in it on board a plane bound for England, and stow away in it. Now in London, they are hoping to make this a fresh start. Not that Dean is planning on giving up his life as a Hunter; on the contrary - he hopes that England may offer some even more interesting creatures to hunt than America did.

Player’s Name: Calypso
Other Characters: Irene Adler, Thor
How You Found Us: Created you, I did!

Roleplay Sample: England. What a strange country. Absolutely nothing like anything Dean was used to. Although, in all honesty, this wasn't saying much since the only places that he'd been was around the States; needless to say, the move over here had been quite a culture-shock for the elder Winchester brother. Everything was different here, starting with the way that they drove on the wrong side of the road, and finishing with how they had their beer (warm! They had it warm! This baffled Dean immensely). Plus when he would eventually got sick of Sam yapping on about how he should stop and ask for directions every time they got lost, he received those 'oh-you're-a-tourist' smiles that locals all around the globe were so well practised at around newcomers. Like hell he was a tourist. Well, yeah, maybe in a way he was. But he still didn't like being thought of as one.

Having discovered some motel where the prices weren't too expensive and the beds were (surprisingly) comfy, the brothers had made it their homes for the next week. Seeing how shattered Dean's nerves were upon landing at Heathrow airport, a week rest before they went in search of their next job sounded like absolute bliss. The man absolutely hated flying; why would you want to travel in a tin box that could crash at 50 gajillion feet in the air at any time?! And stowed away in the cargo hold, of all places, where every jolt felt that much bigger, every bit of turbulence feeling like it was surely the end and the plane was about to take a nosedive into a field in the middle of nowhere.

It had been the most scary ten hours that Dean had ever had to endure. Give him a murderous demon any old day, hell, give him six. He would have gladly taken on them with less fear than he'd felt during the flight; even terrifying monsters that wanted to kill you were preferable to flying. Sitting in the passenger's seat of the Impala wearing three sweaters and a ski-jacket, Dean had hummed album after album of Metallica in an effort to calm himself. Sam, to his credit, somehow managed to sit through an entire three records before he requested (with a kind-but-firm tone of voice that suggested he was trying his very hardest not to throttle his brother right now) that Dean hum something else. Onto Led Zepplin he had gone. Needless to say, Dean had never been happier in his life to arrive in some foreign country which he knew nothing about. It was land, it was safe, and it was a fresh start. As far away as possible from Victor Henriksen and the blasted FBI.

Having slept like a log for the entire next day after their landing, Dean had spent the better part of the morning getting himself acquainted with various parts of London. Notably those where he could hustle at pool whenever cash got short, or where he could pull off his next credit card scam when the need arose. Now, having had lunch with Sam and left him at some library to do research, Dean was cruising the streets of London in the Impala, still attempting to get used to the fact that from now on he would have to drive on the left side, not the right. He'd turn down a street, end up on the wrong side, get beeped incessantly at until he swerved back into the right lane, then repeat it all over again down a different road. It really was a wonder that he hadn't been the cause of an accident yet.

Turning a corner and for the first time today managing to end up on the right side on his first go, Dean cruised along, watching the people pass by. One thing he definitely had to give England for was their women, he mused as he caught sight of a tall blonde, strutting down the street, confindent and cool. And yet...something felt wrong. What exactly it was that was wrong, however, Dean couldn't put his finger on. It was the same kind of wrong that he'd felt that night that he'd dropped Sam back off at Stanford, after which he'd rushed into Sam's flat only to find the entire place in flames thanks to Azazel. He couldn't explain it, but it was almost as if an evil presence had latched itself onto the blonde, refusing to let go. And by the looks of her, she either didn't know or didn't care. His money was on the former.

Dean frowned in thought, watching her as he drove by slowly, suddenly not wanting to lose sight of her. What could it be? Was it a demon or was it just his imagination over-reacting? But then, his Dean Senses (like Spidey-Senses, only so much better because it was Dean) hadn't often steered him wrong. And so, chewing thoughtfully on his lip, Dean followed the blonde, the slow pace of the obviously granny driver allowing him to keep pace with her without looking suspicious. He would simply watch where she went and go from there. If she stopped at a cafe, all the better; the man really couldn't be bothered with fancy cover-up stories today.
